Founded by Kerry Robb in 2016, K South's origins can be traced to an overdraft, a van and a trailer picking up refuse around Christchurch subdivisions. This quickly expanded into mowing lawns and four more staff but the desire to move back home to North Otago was strong. The opportunity to purchase a North Otago lawn mowing business and the return of an old school friend Nick McLennan from overseas, marked a transformative phase which saw Nick joining the venture and K Robb Property Services morphing into K South Commerical Property Services.

Business has expanded rapidly since the move back home with a range of products and services on offer, some of which being firsts for the region. But really we've only just started, and we have some very exciting plans in the pipeline.

Kerry's experience operating in the big city where everything is price driven in a race to the bottom with no consideration for the value of what is on offer is central to how we conduct ourselves in business. We are focused on the value of the entire package of what we offer to our customers with a range of complementary products and services and skilled staff with the right attitude.

Supporting the community in which we live is really important to us and we get a real buzz out of helping various individuals and organisations to achieve their goals. In particular rugby and netball teams which we are big supporters of as well as the North Otago Mountain Bike Club.
